Adoptee Stories Belong to Adoptees Writing Workshop

Join us on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Seeding Justice in Portland, OR, for the Adoptee Stories Belong to Adoptees Writing Workshop, facilitated by Joon Ae Haworth-Kaufka, Founder of Ajumama Workshop. This workshop is a dedicated space for BIPOC adoptees (18+ only) to explore, reclaim, and honor their narratives through writing. Through guided exercises and reflection, participants will engage in storytelling as a form of self-expression, healing, and empowerment.

Registration is required, and space is limited. Stay tuned—registration opens in April!

Sun Mee is a Korean-German adoptee, certified trauma-sensitive Coach, and Founder of NUMARU— An international community and emotional wellness platform for transracial/BIPOC adoptees. She was adopted at 3.5 yrs and raised in South Germany. NUMARU results from her journey of transforming her adoptee’s pain into purpose with a mission to create safe spaces and to offer a trauma-sensitive and open-hearted pathway to healing.
